what does this have to do with?

me again. lol

I saw a eye doctor and had a full eye exam.  i had a few epsisodes on and off with like eyes moving back and forth real fast, blurry, double, but it never lasted for very long which is why neuro said he didn't think it was ms related.  The eye doc said that my exam was normal, I don't need glasses and so forth.  He did say he was sending the neuro a report on something about how the cells in my left eye (the eye that has given me more trouble) are different than my right eye.  He said it is not cause for alarm and doesn't mean there is anything to worry about, but he still wanted to send it.

He said my optic nerve looked fine, and I don't think I ever had a for sure bout of ON, but just weird things.  My question is what does this mean and why is the cells different?  Does that have anything to do with MS?  Has anyone ever heard anything similar?

He was just a regular eye doc.  Optometrist I think.  I don't really know what he meant or why he wanted to send info to neuro.  He just said my left eye shows different cells than my right eye.  And it's 'probably nothing' but he was going to send his findings.

Everything is so vague and frustarting.

Was it a optical nuerologist,  or an opthomologist, that examined you. I went to a optical nuerologist and his exam was pretty different than a regular eye doctor or even opthmologist. He spent alot of time on my face and the nerves of the face and we actually found a numb area on the left side of my jaw  (one of the reasons I went was increased blurriness and some eye lid droop.) It was interesting in that I never thought of the nerves of the face being related to this, but they are.

I'm not sure which cells you're refering, to, though I doubt MS would cause cellular changes in the eye.  Do you have any more information?
