20 yr old with weird symptoms

I'm a 20 year old female and am starting to get pretty scared at the moment.

it all started a month ago with palpitations lasting about 5mins or so...but have since increased to session of up to and sometimes more than 1 hour or 2. though they are now not as frequent. I got really sick at one point...where i couldn't get out of bed for about 3 days. my fingers cramped up and my vision hasn't been the same since. i'd explain it as...blurry...or more like i'm constantly looking into the sun then away again...i can read...but everything else isn't so clear.
my doctor has done a few blood tests and a urine test...only now waiting on a thyroid result and heamochromotosis result and a few others. i'm scared that these will again come back negative....i've just started getting a weird buzzing in my ears as well. i know this isn't normal and feel that the doctor isn't taking me seriously. i feel like i'm becoming depressed from all of this as i haven't been able to work or do much at all..though i force myself to do things...i feel like i'm not really there.

i'm tired all the time and doing small tasks exhausts me.

does anyone have any idea what else this could be??? i'm only 20. i'm usually a really healthy person. this shouldn't be happening.
please help me.

yeah i get short of breath quite often. i suppose it gets worse when i stand up...i usually just sit back down again then take it slow. thanks i shall look into that when i go to the specialist.

i just remembered...right before i started getting these symptoms i ran into a wall in the middle of the night. it was really painful...i wasn't drunk or anything...i was at my friends place and went to the bathroom..the lights were off so i tried to make a run back to the bedroom...and ran straight into a wall...smacked my nose really hard...it hurt for about a week afterward. could that sort of thing cause head trauma?

Do you get dizzy, trouble breathing, feel like your heart is almost skipping beats, Does it get worse when standing or get better when you bend over slightly? The reason I ask is because when I was pregnant with my oldest I started having  the symptoms listed and they done a stress test and it turned out I have Mitral-Valve Prolapse. Somethin to look into. Good Luck

my symptoms come and go..  but are worse when I stand up after sitting or lying down, changing position..   HR 160?  Mine gets pretty high but only after climbing stair or walking at an incline..  I also get shortness of breath too...

Yes, you need a specialist for sure.  The underweight thing doesn't jive with what I have but there are some thin people and children who have it.. but it doesn't sound like what I have...

thanks for commenting!
Got my results today and no B12 problems, no thyroid problems and not anemia. and everything else is normal.
Frustrating!
yeah my heart has gotten up to 160 before...it's pretty scary when it happens but i know just to keep clam and it stops eventually.

i've now been referred onto a diagnostic physician and an eye specialist. and no i'm not overweight at all! i've lost about 4 kgs in the few weeks i've been sick...and this isn't a good look for me. i only weigh 55kgs now and am quite tall as well.
were your symptoms in waves? or constant? because my eyes are constanlty weird...they're like that all the time! sometimes when i close my eyes at night they dart around and keep me from sleeping too.
ahh well i suppose i just need to wait to get into these specialists to see what they say. and don't worry i won't be giving up  until they find something!!! i refuse to be one of those people who are sick for months and months before they find whats wrong!

thanks for both of your input! i really appreciate it! it's nice to know that i haven't been the only one!

I had almost the same thing happen to me. I went and had tests run and mri's and catscans and they couldnt find anything. I got to the point were i would have these spells were i would get really dizzy and i would here a buzzing in my ear. It was awful, i was tired all the time and sometimes it got to the point it was so bad i would vomit. Finally i went to and ear nose and throat dr, they told me i had vertigo (dizziness) and the spells i had been haveing were migraines. I didnt hardly ever get a headache though, he said migraines didnt always consist of headaches. He put me on some meds and i havent had any more of those "spells". Maybe that is a possibility?

has your vision been tested by a eye specialist??  I have palpitations or what felt like palpitations, in my eyes and ears but it was anemia..  I also had visual obscurities..  bright flashing, wavy lines, black fuzz like on a tv screen etc..  I went to the ER and they sent me to an ophthalmologist where I was finally diagnosed with pseudotumor.. I also have headaches, especially upon standing, it's actually more like a pressure feeling in my head.  I had a lumbar puncture which confirmed this diagnosis.. I am now on medication which is making it better..  they say it's ? hormone related and probably due to my obesity, could also be the anemia..  are you overweight?  you must have had routine blood work to r/o anemia and it sounds like they are ruling out thyroid also..   it could be some kind of adrenal problem also or a vitamin deficiency..  The finger cramping doesn't make sense either, doesn't jive with what I have..   You need a full work up for sure.. keep going back and complaining until they do every test possible..  it could be some obscure auto immune problem..  Have you been tested for lyme disease also???   or epstein barr...???   there are virus's that cause these symptoms..

Your symptoms are real don't give up.

Every little thing i do exhausts me too and I'm 41...   I think I've had this for 20 years now that I look back, it just wasn't as severe back then..  try in the mean time to eat a diet low in processed foods..  eat more vegetables, chicken and fruit..  stay away from fast food and anything in the isles of supermarkets and take a multivitamin..  try to get B12 for sure..
