head pains

I'm not sure if this is a question in Neurology but maybe i could be pointed in the right direction.  I have been having a sharp pain on the back right side of my head like right above my neck.. Its really sharp and short but it hurts like crazy for the few seconds.  It does it like every 10 minutes then it'll just stop.  I get really lightheaded like i'm going to pass out.  I dont have any insurance so i didnt know if i should just deal with it or if its sounds more serious than i think.

How's your sleep?  I'm sure they already told you to make sure you get plenty of good quality sleep.

Are you eating healthy?  High salt diet?

Also, are you taking any medications?  Sometimes, that's a side effect... if so, you might try deleting one at a time for a couple of days to see if that's the case.

Finally, how's your stress level?  Right before I got married, my body went haywire for a few months!  High anxiety didn't help anything...

Good luck!

Do some research on SUNCT syndrome.  Maybe you'll find something there.  Good luck.
