Thank you for your response, I'm afraid to do the mylegram for I feel I would get worse with this test. I'm at a catch 22 here and im not getting much support from my neurologist.
Hi there. You need to get an MRI neck done to investigate any cervical spine issues like spondylosis, spondylolisthesis or disc degeneration or prolapse. These could be responsible for the weakness in the limbs. Since there are tingling and numbness, headaches, blurred vision, a possibility of multiple sclerosis also needs to be entertained. Your neurologist would do a detailed neurological examination and the required investigations and you need to discuss with him if the myelography benefits outweigh the associated risk with regards to its diagnostic value.
