Anything?

I get a short electrical current feeling that begins and ends at my tailbone only, and lasts for a few seconds when I bend my neck forward.
I have been seeing a neuro for the past 9 mos for tingling and pulling in the left side of my face that I have had off and on for a little over two years.  I had a normal brain MRI last October and a normal MRA of the Circle of Willis in January.  I take Neurontin for the facial tingling, however it's hard to tell if that has helped because of the pattern of the tingling.  I have had an exacerbation of the facial tingling since July which seems to be around the time I noticed the tailbone sensation, but did not link it to the bending of the neck until August.
I have an appt with my neuro in a couple of weeks and don't know whether to even mention it or not.  Any thoughts? Thanks!

Susan122, Thanks for your insight.   Will definitely do a web search on Teth Cord Synd as well as the DVD.  Have a neuro appt soon and will mention it.  I'm definitely not imaging my sx, however, is also not an emergency either.
Thanks again.

Yes,   Ask your Neurologist about whether you have Tethered Cord Sydrome.
They would need to look at the lumbo-sacral region with MRI imaging.
At the very least, you show clear symptoms of diminished neural mobility.
After you clear everything and get testing necessary...  enlist help of a trained craniosacral therapist.  Finally,  I LOVE the beginners DVD of the work of Pete Egascue.   He is the man that Jack Nicholson credits with getting him cured of severe pain so he could play golf last 10 years of career.   Anyone could do this DVD,   it is refreshing and truly works!

Good luck

Thank you, I will definitely check out that article.  I am currently being treated for hypothyroidism and Vit D deficiency, as of 2 months ago as well.  Any relationship to either of those, that you know of, as well?

"Magnesium deficiency symptoms involving the peripheral nervous system include numbness, tingling, and other abnormal sensations, such as zips, zaps and vibratory sensations."
