Approximately 2 and half years ago I was masturbating to point of climax. It was at that point that i felt a pop in my head (frontal lobe) followed by a feeling of passing out. Since then I have been getting aching headaches on a regular basis, which mostly occurs when im sleeping and occasionally waking me up in the process. Also I have noticed troubles speaking (mumbling), tiredness, and a general un-alert feeling. I have been to a neurologist for about a year now who conducted a few tests, including a M.R.I (about a year ago) and a lumbar puncture. Both of which have been inconclusive; although the pressure was slightly high. He has recently given me numerous trial medication to see if my current state and headaches would improve including apo-acetazolamide (250 mg) and ratio-topiramate (25mg). With acetazolamide not working, and topiramate worsening my state. After being on topiramate for 3 days, I had a general feeling of confusion, disorientation, trouble with my memory, and trouble concentrating. When I went to the doctor and got a blood test it was said that my ammonia levels were abnormally high (if I remember correctly it was just over 200). My headaches and my other symptoms have impeded my life in various ways including my and academic success (can barely write this) to the point where I almost feel like dropping out of high school (currently in grade 11). This leads me to my question. Is there a chance that the MRI could have missed something? Also if you have any advices please post. Thanks
