Butterflies in forearms

I have terrible feelings in my arms.  It feels like butterflies are in them!  Just in both forearms.  To find relief I have to flutter them,, then pull them with all my strength, up to my chest and hold them real tight with clenched fists.  In a real strong fetal position.
Could this possibly be fibromyalgia?  What can I do to make it stop?  It is beginning to hurt really badly!

Thank you

Thank you for your answer.  I have a salt deficiency.  Husband went to the drugstore at 9:30PM and got me some thermotabs.  I took 6 of them and it quit.  I am supposed to take 6 a day but had run out of them about a week prior.  Shame on me for one thing.  This has happened on numerous occasions even with the salt.  I am going to the Dr. next week.  Will certainly discuss this with him.

Again, I thank you Dr.

Hi,

How are you?
You seem to be suffering from arm twitches Dehydration, hypocalcemia, and fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It may also be a tic which may go away on its own after a while. Magnesium supplements help.
Also make sure you are not low on calcium and maintain hydration always.
Take care!
