Can a single round of alcohol poisoning lead to brain damage?

I am male and was in good health, 160 lbs.  Two months ago I went down to Mexico for a few days.  On the trip, over 6 or 7 hours I consumed 9 drinks.  I was with several friends who were with me the whole time and said I was conscious and talking normally. I do not recall some things like how I got home. I would estimate I was in the blackout state for 2 hours.  I do not typically drink that much and have not blacked out since my 20's.

That night both arms felt tingly, numb, and a burning sensation.  I also had loss of coordination in my fingers.  The next day I had tinnitus, vertigo, and nausea.  I also would jump awake any time I started to sleep.

I also was awake for 40 hours due to flights home being delayed and canceled.  After about a week the symptoms started to improve.

However my arms got burning and tingly again.  It then spread to my legs and my face.  After a week the tingly stopped but the numbness stayed and a terrifying sense of lack of coordination feeling in my arms and legs.  This affects walking and navigating stairs.  It is sometimes difficult to type on a keyboard.

I also started to have autonomous symptoms with my heart rate and blood pressure changing drastically when sitting to standing.  My digestion of food is impacted.  My mouth is dry and I have to urinate frequently.

At night I have muscle twitches and spasms.  I can also only sleep 3 or 4 hours and wake pouring sweat and often with heart palpitations.

I now suffer with environmental overload in crowded places. And cognitively I feel impacted at work I am not as efficient as I was before solving issues.

I have been to 5 doctors along with a neurologist and a cardiologist.

I have had tests for inflammation, lyme, west nile, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, some type of gravis, heavy metal toxicity, a full drug panel, metabolic panel. ANA TITERS which came back weak positive 1:40 speckled.  I had an emg an ncv study on my right arm and leg which was normal.  I had an MRI of my brain and spine which was normal. I was tested for parasites and that was negative. I am waiting in a 48 hour heart monitor  test result and will have a eeg next week.  All tests normal.  The symptoms and lack of sleep are impacting my job and family.  My muscles are so weak I can barely lift my children.  I am headed to Mayo but that is a ways off.  My fear is I didn't drink enough water and the alcohol concentration toxicity damaged my brain controlling cognition and motor function.  I also had some blisters from sun burn on my shoulders where i missed applying sun screen.  I never passed out or vomited after the drinking which I thought I would have if I was at toxic levels .  I also have not had any fever or diarheia with these symptoms.

Please help if this has happened to someone else
