Causes of Bells Palsy?

Hello, I am a 17 year old, this is my third time getting Bells Palsy. I am wondering if Bells Palsy comes from other things other than herpes virus. I have reason to believe that it can come from multiple sources. Some of them are: stress, any viruses, cold weather. Respond to the poll below with the options that applies to you before Bells Palsy affected you.

I don't see any polls? There are multiple reasons for Bells Palsy but many are from viruses with herpes on the list.  However, so is influenza, and many other viruses.  It's from damage to nerves in the face.  Trauma can also cause this and people with diabetes are more prone to get it.  I have a friend who got it out of nowhere.  Never did she figure out why.  But the good news is it does NOT mean you are likely to have a stroke.  I don't think cold weather is part of it or stress but there are definitely more reasons than herpes.  Hope this helps!
