Complex Partial Seizures

My situation/story is going to make me sound insane, but I would appreciate some opinions on it. For the past 5-6 years, I have had these "episodes", where I will have a flash-back of sorts, of a dream that I had, whether it had been from last night, or 5 years ago. The dream is not negative, or worrysome, it can be as simple as sitting at a desk, or seeing someones face. I will start to get this gradual, and eventually overwhelming feeling, which is so hard for me to discribe. It racks my entire body, and makes me want to vomit. its like a mixture of numbness and coldness, and lasts about 20-30 seconds. Once its done, I'm left utterly exhausted. I get so tired, and get a mean headache. It can happen as much as 10 times a day, or not happen for another 4 months. Sometimes it happens to me while im asleep, as well. I then had a grand-mal seizure about 2 years ago, while I was driving. When I started seeing my neruologist, she told me that my "episodes" are "partial complex seizures". I have read up on the condition, but i have not read anything that even remotely relates to whats happening to me. Can anyone give some insight, or their opinion?

You are more than welcome.
I actually know what you are what you are going through and it is not fun. Please talk with your doctor and see what he or she thinks and just go from there. In the mean time just take things one day at a time.

Wow, that actually explains a great deal! Especially the "skin crawling" feeling. It's a feeling that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Thank you, flipper336, I haven't been able to find anything explaining something so close to what I'm experiencing.

It sounds like you are having symptoms of temporal lope seizures. You can read about the "normal" symptoms that a person might experience. One of them is a Vivid deja vu (a sense of familiarity) or recalled memories or emotions

Let me know if this helps you any.
