Confused

For the past six months ive noticed a change in myself. Ive been very depressed and ive made several bad choices which have related to the break down of my relationship and finances. To add to this low mood ive been feeling i constantly wake up to see things falling from the ceiling or coming out of the walls. More often than not i see people in my room sometimes standing next to my bed looking at me or even sitting on the bed. Im exhausted all the time, no matter how much sleep i get. I have a two year old son and i always thougth that the lack of energy was just because he's so active. Recently im not so sure. Ive just gotten back with my partner of 3 years and he knows everyting that im going thru and he wants to help but im constantly trying to hold him at arms length. if anyone knows what could be wrong i would be very thankfull if you could help.

To be honest, I used to use a lot of drugs.  The hallucinations you experience seem very similar to those which can be induced by anticholinergics (many of these drugs are OTC and used to treat allergies, insomnia, and congestion).  If you have been using them as sleep aids or for allergies, you could be more sensitive than most people, and that could explain both the hallucinations and day time grogginess, and possibly the depression.  Also, when using many drugs I experienced strange neurological effects, such as frequent sleep-time paralysis (waking up, not being able to move, and hallucinating) and occasional sleep walking.  If this doesn't help, you should see a doctor if you have insurance.
