Could not move thumb or index finger temporarily..

Last night I was laying in bed on my left side, and turned around to the other side and suddenly my left thumb and index finger felt weird and they wouldnt extend. I could move them slightly up, but its like they got stuck halfway. After 20 seconds or so, they went back to normal and I got this electric feeling all the way from hand to shoulder. I had this weird tightening/pain right at the wrist too.

I havent had any issues since. This isnt the numb feeling that people get when they sleep on their arm or hands (I've had those before). This was just a weird thing where I couldnt extend the two, temporarily.

Is this related to a nerve, or a tendon? Anybody ever had this? Last week my left thumb was moving side to side by itself for a few days, I think its called myokymia.
