I am a 56-year-old male in great condition. No obesity, no drugs or alcohol. I eat healthy and usually exercise regularly.
Three months ago I started waking up in the middle of the night with severe pressure headaches all over my head. Standing up is immediate relief from the pressure. After three months of lack of proper sleep though it is hard to get up just to relieve the pain. I now try to just prop myself up in bed and make it to 5 AM. Physical activity exacerbates the pain tenfold.
I have had two Ct scans both negative. Two blood tests, all normal. Yesterday I had a cervical x-ray, no obvious problems. I also had a thorough eye exam with no problems detected. The pressure behind my eyes one hour after exercise is excruciating so that is why I had an eye exam.
I have an appt with neurology next week. Anyone with similar experience?
