Focal Syrinx

I have been diagnosed with thin focal syrinx/ prominent central spinal canal at C4 to C5-6 level with diffused disc bulge at C6-7 resulting in mild indentation over the thecal sac with no significant cord/ nerve root compression. Screening of lumbo - sacral spine reveals mild degenerative changes. There is diffused disc herniation with annular tear at L-5 S1 and L4-5 levels resulting in mild compression over the thecal sac.

My present status is that I have a stiff neck & shoulder on the left side + have continuous pain in my RH middle fingers, left arm, right leg upto the toe and left leg upto the knee. I am at times getting cramps near my under arms over the rib area. Also getting mild headache at the back side of the head. Also have continuous pain in my lower back.
Please advise

HI...the members of the chiari malformation forum would gladly help u with ur issues...a syrinx or syringomyelia is sometimes accompanied with a chiari malformation.

Do u know if u have a CSF blockage or over production or was ur syrinx acquired due to a trauma?
Finding the right dr that is well trained with these conditions is key!!
