Pulsing near the back of my head when I stand??

I'm a 14 year old girl and I'm currently getting over a fever. The pulsating started with the fever but didn't go away with it? Just a couple of minutes ago I stood up and my head throbbed more than it usually has, and my ear even popped (not like an ear infection, it doesn't hurt.. More like when you get water in your ear but without the water). In addition to this, my neck hurts a bit when I turn to the right but not anything major. I'm also not sure the fever is 100% gone but I feel much better than I did. Furthermore, the pulsing occurs when I lay on my side but does away so I could sleep, even if I sit up the pulsing doesn't occur (unless really fast), but when I actually stand the back/lower part of my head hurts (only for 2 or 3 seconds though). I just want to make sure it's nothing serious before talking to my mom about going to a hospital or something (God forbid) and yes I have told her all this. Yesterday we went to my pediatrician about my fever and I asked her about the head throbbing and she thinks it's related to the fever but I'm not sure because as I mentioned before, my fever is mostly gone but the throbbing remains? Hopefully it'll go away and it's minor though, I was just curious to get more opinions or things I can do? Thank you :)
