Wife took a fall and hit the back of her head on the hard wood floor. She was laughing before, during and for 2 sec after the fall. Then she stopped laughing and seemed stunned for a few minutes. Never lost consciousness or stopped breathing. No blood, fracture or anything. Then she comes back and cant remember anyone and has poor motor control for the next 14 hours. During the 14 hours; emergency room visit, clean CT scan and xrays plus rest. After the 14 hours she all of sudden snaps back to reality for the next 36 hours roughly. At the end of the 36 hours she regress in her speech, motor skills, and thinking (brain fog with pain with thinking too hard). Now she has remained this way for the last 2 days. I took to the ER again after she regressed and CT came back clean again for the both the spine and skull, same as x-rays. I don't know if her injury is permanent or not, I was told it was not but finding it hard to believe given how far she is from her usual self. None of the doctors have seem to encountered anything like it before and just want her to rest.
