Is this peripheral neuropathy

I am 28 and have what feels like burning and sensitive palms. At times the pain/aching is in my shoulders arms wrists and hands and fingers at times it is bilateral on both sides. This pain came on randomly and out of the blue. I am due a nerve conduction test as well as some scans on joints but I can’t seem to find out if it is nerves or joints. I have been type one diabetic for 12 years with some times of bad control but I am doing my best to get it under control. Just don’t see how neuropathy can come out of the blue like this. Anyone experienced this type of pain in your hands
