Life-altering headaches

A year ago last month I started having headaches, first only a couple of times a week, then lasting for weeks at a time. These were severe, starting just where the neck meets the skull base, radiating to the front of the skull and have caused loss of urine and bowel control (mostly urine day to day), falling down and listing, esp to the left, and the pain in the neck is severe. Over the past year new symptoms have come on with them, a feeling of heat in the skull base, eye twitching, tinnitus in left ear, choking on solid food, slurring words, saying wrong words, band-like chest pressure, sensitivity to sunlight, and profound fatigue.  I fell again the other day and hit my head on the door frame, causing a knot and soreness that is still present.  Only laying flat and sleep relieve symptoms, but sitting up brings them right back. Bending over, such as doing housework, makes it worse, as does straining with a BM due to severe constipation.  I have been to 6 doctors who either ignore me or tell me to take Tylenol. I've been to 3 emergency rooms and just diagnosed as migraine and given a pain shot (pain shots do NOT work at all).  I KNOW this is not normal and it has devastated my way of life. I am still trying to work two jobs (from home) and manage my family and I literally feel like I am dying slowly every day.  I had an MRI of the brain looking for MS and this was negative.  In the past year, I've had only 2 weeks (spaced out) that were painless and during those days I was scared to death I'd trigger them to come back. I can't go anywhere alone because when they start, I can't get back home.

How do you do aerobics when you fall if you stand up? I do not have common cold or flu, do not live in a hot climate, do not have low blood pressure , I can't believe you missed these symptoms.  I would suggest you look up Chiari malformation.

Hello Dear,
The key causes of your symptoms may be-
- Sudden drop in blood pressure or dehydration which may inhibit blood to the brain causing lightheadedness.
- Dizziness may be accompanied by various disorders such as: allergies, hypoglycemia, common cold, fever, diarrhea, vomiting or flu.
- Loss of balance or spinning sensation may be related to a malfunction in at least two of three main organs that contribute to our sense of balance: inner ears, eyes or the nervous system.
- Serious disorders that may cause dizziness are: stroke, heart attack, severe drop in blood pressure. She  can try some easy remedies at home like;
- Enhance maintaining balance by learning exercises from a trained physiotherapist
- Reduce stress
- Practice Aerobic exercises
- Develop a regular sleep pattern
You should avoid diet drinks,tobacco,caffeine,take plenty of water to ensure the blood pressure does not drop due to exercise, high stress activities and hot climate.
