Looking for diagnosis - my doctors are stumped

I am a 49 year old female. Beginning over a year ago, I have been experiencing the following:

head gets lighthead (never black out), sometimes causes me to get extremely weak, occassionally accompanied by chest pains.  Will get weak in the legs if standing too long.  BP and Pulse Rate extremely erratic

Conditions are erratic and not triggered by stress, food, etc.

Recently, I have been told by my family that I have short term memory loss.

After a MAJOR episode at my office I was in the hospital for a week -- had the following tests run:

MRI, MRA, CAT Scan, EEG, EKG, Nuclear stress test, 2 tilt table tests (inconclusive but indicative of BP changes --- not enough to diagnose neurocardiogenic syncope) sonigrams of various parts of my body and LOTS of blood work, including diabetes, cortisol levels, etc.

Several months later even had angiogram to completely rule out the heart (FINALLY a month ago, BP / Pulse got stabalized ... but still symptoms)

Doctors seen:
Neurologist in hospital
ENT
Cardiologist
Cardio Electrophysiologist
Gynocology
Eye Doctor (who recently told me my eyes were getting drastically BETTER)
Endocrinologist

All of the doctors acknowledge that I have something wrong, and have agreed that it significantly affects my life, but unfortunately, they are all stumped.... WHAT NOW?

Sorry... No eye problems really, was having difficulty with my contacts/glasses and was told my scrip was wrong as my eyes had gotten better. Dr. told me to take special blood test, but I had already been test for that.

thanks for your response.  Finally my BP is controlled.  I now exercise 3 x week, lost weight, and eat right  (5'5' - 155).  Since all this medication I sleep > 8 hours. Still I have my "head swooshes".... my new medical term.

Hi,

How are you?
It is a very unusual case since all your cardiology, neurology and ENT reports are good and still your symptoms are persisting.
What is the eye problem that you have? Is your BP under control?
High BP can cause light headedness and weakness and so can a low blood sugar, dehydration and sleep deprivation.
Please make sure your BP is adequately controlled by medication and salt restriction at all times, eat regularly and sleep for at least 8 hrs every day.
Hope this helps!
