I have had two brain surgeries. One a craniotomy in 1996. In which three wires were used to hold my skull in place. The second was in 2020 and was a keyhole surgery in the same place. Since the second surgery I have felt increasing pain and stabbing from the location of the wires. My last MRI increased these symptoms by a large amount. We can see one of them at an odd angle, jutting out into the scalp on own end and into a space on the skull (previous drill hole) on the other. I have had numbness in my face on that side, as well as weird cold or hot water trickling feelings in these locations that come and go. It is very sensitive to pressure and changes in position (laying down for example). My question is, what kind of damage could these wires be doing? Could they cause a CSF leak?
