MS Possible with no clinical evidence?

Hi  a quick question I just went to the neuro I have Trigeminal Neurolgia, Benign Fascuilatation Syndrome, and left Sided numbness and speech problems.  I have two T2 a  hypersensitivities venous angioma, scar tissue, and spinal fluid.  I  had a clean LP and clean bloodwork, and a good neuro exam, although the last one three months ago showed left sided weakness.  The dr thinks its stress from my elderly parents and thinks it could be MS but its not really showing up yet?   Could this happen? Could it still be MS with all the tests coming back ok?

I would be investigating the venous angioma further. Please check out: http://www.angiomaalliance.org/

Scroll down on the left side, under "Symptoms and Treatment" and then "Venous Angioma". This site has been invaluable to me. I have a cavernous angioma on the brain stem and I just found this site recently.

I wish you the very best.

If you had a lumbar puncture which was clear then MS can be pretty well ruled out.  It is possible to have a clear MRI but rare with MS.  With all your testing that came back clear it sounds like you don't have MS.  Have you looked into Lyme disease.
I was dx with lyme 4 months ago after going to three neuroligists thinking I had MS.
If you want any information on lyme just email me.

Good Luck,

Lesley

Almost every person with MS was told at some point it was stress.  However, from what I understand, MS does not cause muscle twitches.

But, to answer you question, yes, you can have MS without the lesions (positive MRI).
