Saw new Primary doc shared multiple symptoms. Sent to Neuro for tests: Results as above. Noticed "Depression" listed on Primary report. On visit to Neuro doc he acted as though none of my symptoms (all of which are listed under Peripheral Neuropathy in any medical book) were Neurological (falling, pain in legs, cold feet and hands, difficulty swallowing, shortness of breath). His "Consult" lists Somatic scores and abbreviations all which add up to "Somatic Syndrome" which is a new term for Psychosomatic. My husband and I are in shock over what has transpired. I have past diagnoses of Hypothyroid, carpal tunnel, asthma, lichen sclerosis. Never have I been called a hypochondriac. How can these amazing test results be considered (in his words) borderline (on the EMG) and even questionable because of his physical exam of me was normal. The EMG examiners were not acting like it was questionable at all and an abnormal 6.5 U RNP. Where to go from here?
