Hi there, not a question but I hope it helps somebody. I am writing because I have suffered with these random muscle twitches ,non stop at times, all throughout my body for the past 2 years and possibly have found a solution to help calm them. So here it is, I have seen a neurologist and got the all clear for anything major, that’s key. However my muscles were still twitching, they still felt weak (although no clinical weakness, just not co-ordinated and not right in general) I done some research and found out that some people who have been on acid reflux medication have problems absorbing the magnesium. I have a hiatus hernia and had been on acid medication on and off for around 7-8 years. So I done some more research and found out that magnesium reserves can be depleted from muscles without showing up in blood tests. I then found this product http://www.betteryou.com/magnesium-oil-recovery-spray the sports version as it has the most magnesium, which lets magnesium absorb through your skin directly into muscles therefore bypassing the usual stomach method of gaining nutrients, and used it for 1 week. I can honestly say after 1 week I noticed a huge benefit. My muscles were not weak feeling and instead of 2-3 twitches a minute at times I now only get maybe 6-7 in a whole day, sometimes non at all. I still get twitches but they don’t bother me, I don’t feel weak or un-coordinated and the twitches in general do not cause me hassle anymore. Now I only use it before or after training and I feel better than I have done in a long time and can train no problem. I also take vitamin K2, vitamin D and calcium, cod live oil and a glucosamine supplement but I am almost positive it is the magnesium spray which has helped me with this. It’s worth a try at least and its only about 17 euro and the spray lasts just over a month. The neuro couldn’t find out anything wrong but I can tell you this spray seems to be working for me so far, I can actually relax now. Regards, hope yas find it works well.
