NES and hormones and seizures

I don't really have a question but I trust that my experience might help someone else.  I'm a 49 year old mom and wife.  About 18 months ago, I began experiencing seizures (episodes).  They are like a partial complex seizure.  I saw a neurologist and was started on Keppra.  I was up to 2,500mg a day and they were not stopping.  I began to track them carefully and I believe I saw a pattern of only during the 2nd half of my monthly cycle, days 15 - 28 (and usually between 18 and 21)  My neurologist decided to put me in the hospital to do a video EEG monitoring and I told him the dates it needed to be.  We hit it right and it was determined that my seizures are NES.  I was told that they could have a physiogenic or psychogenic cause.  Since mine began in the pit of my stomach, they decided to do a abdominal and pelvic CT, which showed no physical cause.

I had been reading on hormones, etc. and all they can affect in our bodies.  After making contact with a woman who is trained in hormones, I did the hormone saliva testing.  My blood tests already showed my hormones were within normal range.  The saliva testing showed a much different picture as I bagen to realize that we can show enough hormone in our blood, but they may not be 'free' hormones.

I have begun the task of rebuilding my adrenal system and then into correcting the hormone imbalance.

Hi everyone.  I have been on Depakote since I was 2 y.o., I am currently 39 y.o.  In mid-may I switched to Keppra & was off depakote totally by mid-June.  End of June is when things started acting weird.  Hormones going bonkers.  I thought at 1st, maybe prego?..but all tests have been neg.  So then i did some reading on if/how Keppra can have effect on hormones.  Has any woman out there experienced a wet clear discharge in underwear everyday while on Keppra?  Nothing else weird about it..just wet & clear.  Also had random twitches in different parts of body internally & visable pulsating of stomach as well.  Tingly ankles/legs/feet & in arms as well w/occasional sudden pains in upper arms, carpal tunnel like cramping in both hands that lasts for a few minutes, then it passes...sudden urges to pee & peeing more often but less amounts, changes in #2 for bathroom - constipated & also diarehhea different times, blurry vision a few times, nausea, thirsty but not hungry, head/neck twitch, muscle stiffness on L side of neck & in neck...the works.  So now I have switched back to Depakote & off the Keppra since that did not work well for me.
