PTC help

I was diagnosed with PTC a few weeks ago. I was given Diamox for that. I developed a severe head and chest congestion and broke out in a rash on whole body. We were not sure whether it was the medication or the cold that gave me a rash so we stopped for a week and started back on it. Since i have took it i still feel like i have a sore throat, i do not have a rash yet but i feel like a vibration in my whole body. It is hard to explain but it is weird i feel like my whole body is sort of shivering or vibrating. Does this have any connection to the medication. Please help if you can.

I was started on Diamox when I was diagnosed with PTC  a little over 2yrs ago. I had an allergic reaction to the Diamox. And my doc to me to try it again and I would always be very cold and my body would tremble or shiver. And my doc took me off of it and said that could be a form of an allergic reaction. It would take a while for my body to stop shivering and to warm up. the only other drug that my doc could recommend to me is call Methozalomide. It worked as a diuretic and helped keep the fluid down. And my headaches were gone.

I have read that Diamox can cause depression and anxiety.  But it could just be a reaction to the Diamox.  I have learned that it is the demon drug..lol.

I have been diagnosed with PTC for about 8 months now and have been on Diamox every since.  I recently started having this vibration...shaking inside feeling and was told that it was just anxiety.  Hope that helps......
