Phantosmia problems. Help!

My question is this. I’ve experienced neurological symptoms (altered sensations in lower limbs, pain behind eyes, confusion and memory loss, absent plantar reflexes) for 16 years on and off but they never progressed and some went away and I’ve led a normal life.
However almost 2 weeks ago I started with daily headaches (the odd migraine too) and the most nasty phantom smell that is horrendous to live with (it is making me question any other smells). The phantom smell is constant and never lets up no matter what time of day nor where I am although there are times when it is worse. I have also started having the odd period of time where I have tingling nerves in a specific spot in my back and awful dizziness/vertigo when my eyes close. I am in good health aside from that. No recent illnesses or viruses.
The very last thing I want is for some tired doctor to hear me out and throw in the words functional/somatic into their opinion.
Any thoughts from anyone? Thank you.
