My dad's a Vietnam vet, with MG. I've been submitting VA claim paperwork for him. There's some info that I've found that you may be interested in.
Any Vietnam vet, just FYI, qualifies for some level of disability due to Agent Orange exposure. Please contact someone for details. As far as Agent Orange being the cause of your MG, it might never be "proven". I had an autologous stem cell transplant and later developed MG. My oncologist say the two are not related; but I (a nurse with 40+yrs) do not agree. MG isn't an inherited illness.

I also am aVNVet. I looked it up on wiki. It says multiple chemical sensing which results from exposure to synthetic chemicals(pesticides, smoke.etc
If anything, a thymectomy should lessen the symptoms of MG. That is one of the treatments for it.
I also had read in the past about a link between MG and toxic exposure (Agent Orange, etc.), but I don't know if it has ever been proven. You might want to try to post your question (though it may take some time getting through) to the neurology doctor-patient forum. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get an answer, though. Don't think anyone on this board is going to be able to definitively answer your question, especially if the research isn't in regarding a definite link between the two. Read all you can on the internet and see what you come up with, though.
