PS. Not sure if this is important but when I was 16 I experienced convulsions that could not be properly explained by the attending doctor at the time I was admitted into the hospital by ambulance.
I was not running a fever to cause the convulsions to occur and not under any drugs or alcohol. I was sick with strep throat the week prior and had been off pennicillian for 3 days, still yet I was feeling sick and had a massive headache over those 3 days. I slept for most of those 3 days. They said I had a viral infection (which was told later it was because they had no valid answer to give)
When they had occured, I was about to eat dinner that my mom made but felt really sick and dizzy, I looked up at my mom and said "mom I dont feel so good." In that instant she said that I passed out and she caught me before I hit the floor. I remember feeling my right pinkie finger burning because it fell into the hot plate. The next thing I remember was hearing my mom on the phone with 911 but I was unable to see, move or talk. I was paralyzed the whole time she was on the phone. I could hear everything she was saying and could feel her touching my face but I could not see her and was unable to move any part of my body, I wasnt even able to speak. I was terrified. I finally was able to retain my vision and muscle control when I was in the ambulance. I was confused and very disoriented. After that incident, I never had another convulsion or seizure. I am not sure if that is important but I just thought I would add it just in case..... thanks!
