Random twitches and muscle spasms since daughters birth

I am 20 years old. I had my daughter on May 8, 2011 and ever since I've been having muscle spasms in my left side. Sometimes they are very painful, other times just really annoying. Now for the past month I've had leg and arm spasms or twitches to the point where my leg or arm visibly moves. My side spasms have now been going on for 3 days straight. My stomach specialist who my doctor refered me to has done a bunch of tests and says it only muscle spasms and that they will go away. It's almost been 3 years since it's started and just getting worse with more symptoms not better. Any advice would be awesome since I'm stumped on where to go from here.

Hi thanks. I have been to my family doctor, the stomach specialist and my OB. I have had many day surgeries and scopes inside me and such but they just say it's muscles. Muscle spasms may be part of it but I don't believe it's the only thing wrong. Plus I can't be on meds for muscle spasms since they don't last long enough.

So sorry to hear you have been dealing with this for so long, with no answers.
How troublesome for a new Mom. I am sorry to say I have no  knowledge of what could be causing your problem. I know how frustrating it is to try and find answers. Have you been to any other doctors besides that one?
