Hot flash on side of left foot.

I am an 18 year old woman. I consider myself to be pretty healthy and I try to stay active. But lately for the past month, month and a half I have been getting a warm sensation on the side of my left foot below the ankle and the whole outer side of my left foot. It happens a few times a day. Some days it happens once or twice a day and then other days it will happen multiple times a day. I don't have any other symptoms than the warm sensation and sometimes I don't really notice that. Its not painful it just gets warm. I'm not sure what could be causing this. I did sprain my ankle about 7 months ago, but that's fully healed. So what could this be? It just came out of nowhere.

I'm 21 and havinf the same issue. It's really strange. I've never had anything happen to it, I have sprained my right ankle. But I don't know why I'm getting this sensation in my left foot...
