Right testicle pain with right side and back pain

On December 17, 2013 I went to the ER for blood in my urine and they found that I had a major bladder infection and I was told to see a urologist.  A little later that day I had sharp pain and swelling in both testicles and then major pain in my right side.  It hurts to walk at a normal pace and running is out of the question.  They found a 2mm cyst on my right epidimius and a 4mm kidney stone in my right kidney but the cyst shouldn't be causing my pain (according to the urologist) and I have past a few kidney stones before and I never had pain like this.  I had a cystoscopy done Feb. 18th and many blood and urine tests done with STD tests included and everything came back normal.  I just had an MRI done 2 weeks ago on my lower back and found a herniated disk (either L4 or 5) and found that my cartiledge is drying out but according to my PCM, the herniated disk "shouldnt be the cause of my pain." I've been dealing with this for over 3 months, have been on 4 different antibiotics the entire time, and am finally going to be able to see a neurological surgeon next month.  I have no idea what is going on and I'm thinking maybe this might varicocele?  Are there any other possibilities??  Please help!

I was checked for hernias and the stone is still lodged in my upper right kidney and cannot cause pain in my testicles.  To me this pain sounds more like varicocele and I will be getting checked on Monday.  Thank you for you insight!!  I really appreciate it!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems.  Well, strange though it may sound to your, testicular pain can be a referred pain due to kidney stone. I understand you had kidney stones earlier and none caused this pain—but the referral of pain to testis depends on the location of stone.
The other possibility is inguinal hernia on that side. Please have a surgeon look into this.
Hope this helps. Take care!
