Rotar cuff and ulnar neauropathy

I have had a very painful left shoulder for 7 months and diagnosed left hand ulnar neauropathy for 3 months. I am awaiting retesting of the ulnar nearuopathy in 3 months because the place of nurve compression or damage couldn't be located. I first noticed I was becoming clumbsy and droping or knocking things with that hand, then several weeks later I noticed the numbness in the ring and middle finger and that side of the palm which seemed to appear out of no where and now never goes away and feels to be slowly getting worse.

As for the shoulder I am on antiinflamation and pain meds and started seeing physio last week which made it worse so the physiotherapist advised to stop the excersises (very gently moving shoulders back and relaxing 10x) until I see him agian this week. He also suggested that the ulnar neauropathy could be caused or connected to the muscle spasm in the shoulder which is what I also thought. Could this be possible and if so how?

Hi, Thank you for your question. It will be helpful if you get this neuropathy evaluated with another neurologist at your earliest convinience. This could have been occured due to nerve impingement after rotator cuff injury. Neurologist would like to conduct certain investigations like nerve conduction test and EMG to know extent of the problem and will advise you treatment accordingly. Hope this helps.

The physio now believes the shoulder problems are nurve related from my neck and related to the neuropathy.
