Scoliosis surgery

I have done two scoliosis suregery in the past. I currently have an infected herrington rods in my back and I am told I need surgery again.  What can happen if I do not take that third surgery?

go throgh with surgery ,,,,I had to have 13 durgery's all together because of an infection...best of luck

There is a possibility that the infection from the Harrington rods can spread to the spinal cord and even brain.
Please follow the advice of your doctor. If in doubt take a second opinion on this. Take care!
