Sharp pain in the left side head and ear.

Hi. My 26 year old brother has been enduring a head pain that started from the left side of the head, under the ears, for about 4 days already. It has now spread to the whole left side of his body. He said that the pain comes and goes, and it startles him when the pain attacks. The pain attacks him steadily. What could be the cause of this and what could be the possible treatments for it?

Hello~I would suggest seeing his doctor as soon as possible to rule out any thing serious. I also suggest possibly seeing a chiropractor, he could very well have some pinched nerves in his neck causing these symptoms. The chiro will take some X-Rays of his neck, study them, and then go over the results with him, after a few treatments, if this is the reason for the symptoms, he should start to feel better.

Let us know how what his diagnosis is and how it goes.
