Slurred and studdering speech?

So basically when I was little I got so sacred by a dog it made me completely almost lose my speech but I just started completely studdering my words. I remember being taken to a doctor for it and took some pills and I sort of regained most of my speech but my speech was never the same and I still studderred my words and still do now and I’m already 20. I’ve noticed for the past year or so out of nowhere my speech has been worsen than it ever has before. I studder so much more and just a few months ago i noticed I started slurring my words which has never ever happened to me before even when I studderrd my words I never slurred my speech. For instance I would try to say “infection” and it came out as “affection”. Does anybody else have a problem like this or might know what this is? I’m in the medical field as well and I have some ideas on what this may be but I’m still not sure and want opinions?
