Sudden - one moment body jerks

Hi everyone. I sometimes experience sleep starts or you can call them sleep jerks. When I fall asleep my body shakes for half a second and I know it is normal. What starts to scare me that I have something similar while being awake. It happens rarely and only when I’m relaxed lying in bed or maybe sitting on a chair. A random part of my body ( maybe one shoulder or one foot ) can shake suddenly for half a second just like when I fall asleep. And that’s it. I’m worrying that it’s dangerous. Does anyone know if it is? Thank you!
