Sudden onset of Tinnutis

What can cause a sudden onset of severe tinnutis? 2 days after spinal injection for spinal stenosis(L3&4), someone threw a light switch and I now have constant ringing, buzzing in my head.  Initially had "ice-pick" type headaches that went away.  Moderate pressure on left side of head (ear) when ringing subsides. MRI, MRA of head and neck are negative. Audiology report normal for age. C-reactive protein, RA negative. EEG perfomed & 24 hr urine for VMA & metanephrines awaiting results. CTA scheduled this week.  Anxiety unmanageable with Xanax, can't sleep at nite since it gets worse at nite.  Loss of weight: 15 lbs in 5 weeks. Trying Zoloft with xanx at nite to try and sleep. Took Mobic for years for back pain/arthritis but discontinued before injection. Chronic sinus infections for years.  Common antibiotic resistant.  Rocephin seems to work.  ENT exam 3 weeks ago unconclusive.  Sinus clear, normal function of ear drums. Neurologist labeled TIA initially but continues to investigate with CTA.

Wish is was that simple.  I've been off the NSAID's now for over a month with no relief.
