Swallowing issues/Myopathy

Hi. I have undiagnosed Myopathy.
Only symptoms I've had are extreme weakness in legs.

A few days ago, I was unable to swallow.  I wasn't eating, only had saliva in throat.
When I went to swallow, I couldn't.
It's as if the nerves controlling the swallowing were paralyzed.
I could breathe, move my jaw.  No pain.

I massaged my throat, then I could swallow.
Froze up again.
Kept happening for about five minutes, then since then, nothing.

Never had an issue. Ever.

I was terrified. I'm better now.
I left message for my neurologist, but she hasn't called back.

Has this happened to anyone?

Thanks.
