Hi...until u know what is going on...do not let a chiropractor touch ur neck....next, if u do not already have copies of ur MRI's and the reports ...request them....it is easier to get another opinion when u have ur info.
Did u mean the vagus nerve?.....
Sometimes we develop calcium deposits in an area that was injured...that build up may be causing the pop sound and it could be compressing a nerve causing that odd sensation...I would not roll ur neck in that fashion...avoid that if possible.
Once u have the MRI's and the reports, do be sure u see a spine specialist to see what may be going on.

It seems to be getting more frequent 3 times so far this week. I am scared to drive and cannot work. The last time it has happened was this morning with very little rotation of the neck
