Tingling feet and hands, Nerves healing?

Good day all,

Have had tingling in my feet and hands, about 5 months now. I thought it was an HIV infection but tested every month for six months and came up neg.

Not really sure what causing this symptom, but a month before it started I was put on antibiotics called  flagyl - where I got some tingling while take it for 10 days. I'm taking b vitamins for this.

So my question is how do I know if it’s getting better, the tingling has changed to burning and have noticed my feet sweat more.
Is this a sign of nerve healing?

There are various causes of paresthesias, as detailed in the following article:
https://www.healthline.com/health/paresthesia

Radiculopathy:
- a herniated disk that presses on a nerve
- a narrowing of the canal that transmits the nerve from your spinal cord to your extremity
- any mass that compresses the nerve as it exits the spinal column

Neuropathy:
- hyperglycemia (e.g., diabetes)
- trauma
- repetitive movement injuries
- autoimmune diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis)
- neurological diseases (e.g., multiple sclerosis)
- kidney disease
- liver disease
- stroke
- tumors in the brain or near nerves
- bone marrow or connective tissue disorders
- hypothyroidism
- deficient vitamin B-1, B-6, B-12, E, or niacin
- excessive vitamin D
- infections (e.g., Lyme disease, shingles, or HIV)
- certain medications (e.g., chemotherapy drugs)
- exposure to toxic substances (e.g., chemicals or heavy metals)

You should see your doctor for further workup and evaluation.
Laboratory and/or imaging tests can rule out etiologies listed above.

Thanks very much for your response.
I have done MRI and NCT(nerve conduction test). My doctor believes it stress related, I mean I was stressed thinking I had hiv, but I think I have that under control. Will go back and do some blood tests for vitamin def. thanks again.

Slimfox do you have any updates? I'm going through this now. My primary care is chalking it up to anxiety, but I don't think anxiety can last this long.
