Am off now but when first taking Topamax (2 yrs+@75mg) for migraine I felt terrible. Dizzy, headachy, "car sick"..sort of like the flu. It slowly went away after a few weeks. It takes a while to get used to it and to find a dosage that you can tolerate and that does help. Oh yea, I used to get "prickly" feet..some call it tingling but it was a bit more painful. Sounds wierd but eating a banana (potasium) would make it stop. I started eating one each day..a few days missing one and the tingling would return so I know that it was the "stuff" in bananas that had the effect. Good luck.

Hello! Yes, I was taking Topamax for about the last three years or so. I don't remember getting headaches in the beginning. Topamax is also used as an anti-tremor medication but like you, I used it for migraines. My doctor recently told me to stop taking it. I developed five kidney stones(3 in one, 2 in the other). Apparently Topamax can cause kidney stones! I wish my doctors had told me this a few years back! I would ask your doctor what side effects are normal, and what side effects might occur with this medication. Also ask about Metoporol for migranes. It worked for me. I hope you feel better. Good luck!
