Transdermal Magnesium/ Does it really help migrane pain go away?

By taking an liquid magnesium instead of an oral pill really help.  I was in the hospital 3 weeks ago and they gave me a iv of magnesium and a morphine cocktail and two days later i had less pain. That lasted for 3 days and i went right back to severe head pain and facial pain.  Since i went to my follow up appointment my doctor was worried about how much medical cost i was incuring instead of how much my pain has intensified. I do have very good insurance and he is paid so i do not know what his deal is except all text keep coming back ok except when i had the subnachroid hemmorage (not sure how to spell that)  I can not eat sleep and is very hard to talk with out it hurting my face now. I am willing to try the liquid magnesium, if someone has heard of it helping or one of the doctors has heard of it      Please Get back to me!  Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Magnesium is well known to help headaches like Migraine. In fact some doctors advise to take 500mg magnesium at the first sign of a migraine attack.
Transdermal magnesium in the form of magnesium oil has been used for a long time to help with migraines.
