MRI with & without contrast, history-38yr old with bi-lateral hand tremors
Impression: 1.Normal pre-post contrast MRI of brain 2. Mild ethmoid and right frontal sinusitis.
Findings: Flow voids indicating patency are seen in vertebrobasilar and carotid systems. Minor inflammatory mucoperiosteal thickening of frontal sinuses and various ethmoid air cells is present.

Can a doctor tell me what this means? Thank you!

Hi.  I'm not a doctor but I'll give it my best shot:

patency: being open.  Meaning your carotid artery and vetebrobasilar (blood supply to brain) systems are open with no blockage.  (no sign of stroke or artherosclerosis)

There seems to be some inflammation in the sinuses, perhaps a sinus infection?

How long have you had hand tremors?
