Twitches and other symptoms

This all started dec 2016 , both my feet felt stiff, so my dr sent me to a neurologist, he did an emg and all the clinical, saw that i was a diabetic (very slight,if there is such a thing, only in the hundred) said i had neuropathy, normal emg, started obsessing(yes i have health anxiety, immediately got myself on medication) in may went back he did an emg on my other side, now he diagnose sensimotor polyneurapthy. By this time i started with a twitch in the calf , than it went to the other calf now its basically all over mostly below my waist, anus area is a hotspot right now(tmi). My legs are like popcorn is going off, of course i googled and of course als came up . Now it sent me into a tailspin, gp sent me for an mri on my lower back came back with bilateral stenosis in lumbar area, off to the orthopedic. He tells me i need a laminectomy, i didnt want to have an operation quite yet, aug went to oregon health and science saw the guy who was in charge of the als and perpheral neuropathy dept , he said no sign of neuropathy, you dont have als today and this all your lower back. Meanwhile mucus started getting really heavy in the back of my throat still wasn’t satisfied because i was convince i had als, went to Columbia Presbyterian in New York and was told again i dont have als. Than on to john hopkins and was told same thing. Meanwhile tongue has twitched both feet feel tight and weird popcorn going off in my legs and the anus twitch, now tip of nose is tingling. My emg show chronic denervation and reinvention but no acute activity, so i get talked into the laminectomy by my spouse , gp  and orthopedic. I am on tranquilizers and anti depressant, i had a swallow test normal. I really dont know what else to do but sick to death worrying about limbonset als or bulbar. Any help would be appreciated,
