Unexplained Symptoms..PLEASE help!

I recently woke up in the middle of the night with a sudden knee pain. It was like a big growing pain, with tons of pressure. 2 days later, i went to the Dr. and was referred to a Orthopedic. The orthopaedic and my Dr. diagnosed me with Degenerative Disc Disease. After a total of 3 days go by, the pain spread to my right foot, right ankle, femur and tibia. The next day to my left ankle, right elbow, left knee. The next day severe mussle pain set in on my lower back, innter thighs, and the right side of my jaw. My Lymphnodes in my armpits, neck and legs were very swollen.. Not painful or sore, with the exception of my left armpit.Today, a week later, I have the pain in every joint, my entire jaw, have a big lump behind my right knee, which is the worst joint pain of them all... I have been having sudden and severe abdominal pain, some diarrhea, shoulder pain, Mussle pain in my back, as well as chest mussle pain, pain on my heels, etc. I have had a few migranes, nausea, and feelings of being disoriented, or choppy or slurred speech at times.. I described it to a friend as almost like I am coming out of annestetic. I also had a lump on my back, as well as a clump of mussles that formed a knot rather quickly.. I have begun itching. Have no rashes, or any blemishes of my skin anywhere yet. My vision seems to have blurred but i am just confused. My blood work came back ok, and i am just seeing if something is being missed..The pain today seems to be joint pain in my legs and feet, mussle and bone in my back, and i cant tell if it is mussle or bone in my jaw, but my face is swollen as are all of my lymphnodes...

Lyme disease also manifests this way but many physicians are not Lyme literate.  CDC testing guidelines for Lyme are flawed and currently the Connecticut Attorney General has an antitrust investigation into the IADS (people working with the CDC who make the guidelines).  There will hopefully be change to the diagnosing and treatment of Lyme disease in the near future.  I have Lyme. I had to finally order the lab testing myself which came back positive (through Labcorp).  This first test is called the ELISA. I then followed up with the recommended 2nd test, the Western Blot which also came back positive.  I live in a state considered to be low risk for Lyme.  Lyme is extremely political right now. I suggest you watch the trailer Under Our Skin as it is in theaters right now, but educate yourself.  Visit ILADS for accurate information on Lyme disease.  Visit youtube and watch the videos of people with Lyme.  Lyme also affects CNS and can cause severe neurological symptoms, including Bell's Palsy and in my case erythromelalgia.  All of my tests for autoimmune and rheumatoid came back negative which is not uncommon at all in Lyme disease.  You will hear that about Lyme -- that it isn't around here.  That is mumbo jumbo.  Lyme is under reported because of the narrow and faulty guidelines for testing set up by the IADS for the CDC, and they have not been changed since they first came out in the 1980s.  Ignore your doctor when he says "We don't have Lyme."  I live in Utah. WE HAVE LYME DISEASE.  You need to consult with a Lyme literate doctor.  Look up Joseph Burrascano's treatment of Lyme disease.  Visit ILADS (not IADS) for accurate information on Lyme.  The majority of physicians have been kept in the dark about Lyme disease.

Hello. Today i went to the Neurologist. He litterally tapped my joints, asked if i felt this and that and sent me on my way with some pills... Said nothing what he thought it may be. He sent me with some sleeping pills and some anxiety medication, even though i told him I was fatiged and not having trouble sleeping. My results from my CT scan of just my eyes showed that I had an Enlarged Lacrimal Gland and he didnt even go into that.. He is a wacko.. I also asked him about Lyme, and he said "No, we dont have that around here, and if we did we would hear about it on the news", so he wouldnt test for that.. What do I do.. Feel like I am getting nowhere...

Hi,
Whipple's disease also manifests with CNS symptoms. Please get it ruled out. Other possibilities are- Systemic lupus erythematosus or Lyme disease. Please go for ANA testing, Antiphospholipid antibodies and other laboratory investigations as suggested by the doctor. Please consult a rheumatologist and discuss these possibilities. Take care!

Hi,
Severe joint pains, Generalized swelling,  Lymphadenopathy, Muscle pain , Abdominal pain and Diarrhea closely relate to Whipple’s disease. It is a rare systemic illness caused by the bacterium Tropheryma whippelii. Main symptoms are arthritis, weight loss, diarrhea, lymphadenopathy and generalised swelling. Diagnosis can be confirmed by small-bowel biopsy and endoscopy. Please consult a gastroenterologist for the diagnosis and management. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
