What could be the causing this strange headache I'm having?

For the past week I've had a headache like no other. I noticed at first a very constint dull ache above my left eyebrow and when I stooped over or got up it would pound in the same area but I was able to function through the pain not finding any type of over the counter med to relieve the headache. Now a week later I'm still having that same dull headache above my left eye accept now I can't stretch, bend, stand up, take a deep breath, basically everytime I try to do anything like housework or shower I get a shooting severe pain that's almost unbearable for a few seconds then it goes back to the constant dull ache. Every move I make causes this dull ache to explode into that unbearable pound for a few seconds. I can't even clear my throat without the shooting pain affecting me. Not one type of pain reliever has taken this dull ache away. I am now forced to sit pretty much still without moving to avoid this excruciating sharp pain. Please if anyone has has this similar problem please advise me what it could be or what I need to do. I'm not able to even do normal activities without having to endure horrible pounding in my head until I can get still again. Its affecting me horribly. Please help?
