Why does my skin feel numb and also painful

About 5weeks ago parts of the left side of my face stated to go numb. My left top lip started first then my nose, part of my cheek and finally my forehead into the front of my scalp.
Had gp appointment because I was worried it might be due to pins or plates from my jaw moving.

Had some blood tests, the only thing the doctor said was that the results showed definite inflammation. Although naturally don't know where from.

I have a neurologist appointment on Tuesday now. Great.

Except on Tuesday i noticed a patch on my lower left abdomen (from around belly button down the crotch along the top of my thigh and to the side of my hip and round).
It started feeling a little painful to touch. Now it feels like it's really badly bruised (but only with cold hands or clothing, or bizzarely hair).
In the past hour it's become almost unbearable i cant have anything touch that area.

While it was the same with my face, that has died down a lot.

How am i going to cope til my appointment with the pain.
