I'm a 32 year old healthy Male. Quit smoking 2 years ago.
2020 has been a very stressful year with 2 family members passing away.
Had chronic neck pain in mornings for about 1 month went and seen a myotherapist pain is now gone!
After the myo I started getting widespread muscle fasiculations hands, calfs, quads, biceps on both sides... I am so scared I have ALS.
I have no muscle wasting or weakness.
I have been diagnosed with general anxiety for many years.
Had an MRI showed a 4mm flair t2 lesion in white matter non specific. Booked in with a professor of neurology who assured me its nothing but just a aging spot.
MRI of cervical spine showed mild spondylosis.
CK levels were high after physical excerise 900 then dropped to 200 after 1 week. All other bloods normal except for LDH deficency 80 (120-200)
Had an EMG and all normal nothing seen at all. NC study all normal. (Told it was BFS)
Have been taking magnesium and vitD and calcium daily nothing seems to help these annoying twitches. I train daily lifting weight, planks pushups and seem to be getting stronger. Muscle measurement over the month have grown and hand dynamometer strength was high 75kg right hand 62kg left hand. Babinski sign negative. Neuro said I needed endep for severe health anxiety and over active nervous system. PLEASE does this sound like I may have ALS based on lesion, spondylosis and CK levels
Appreciate allthe help I can get as I'm losing sleep over it.
Meds are: 5mg valium at night for 4 years.
