adverse reaction

has anyone had an adverse reaction to allograft bone with titanium plate or the PEEK implant from a cervical neck fusion?????

I had allograft, BMPII (bone morphogenic protein 2) PEEK cages and rods and screws implanted in my lumbar/sacral spine 3 years ago and although the surgery was not terribly successful regarding pain the fusion itself was successful providing spinal stability (it actually fused very, very quickly) and I never had any known reaction to the implants.  

What kinds of symptoms are you having?

my neck has fused.. had mri..all of the pain i had before surgery is gone. i now have pain in the area they did the surgery and straight down my spine.i also have swelling in that area of my neck that never goes away although it does get worse as the day goes on each day. it also if very tender to press on that area. thanks for your intrest
