MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems.  If pain due to pressure on spinal nerves is ruled out then low back ache on one side could be due to kidney problems, stones in the urinary tract and colitis or IBS are the other possibilities. The other causes could be problems with hip joint or muscles of the buttock.
The calf pain could be due to compartment syndrome (collection of blood or fluid in the fascia of the leg) or due to deep vein thrombosis or atherosclerosis.
Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your doctor regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!

I'm not sure if this will help you with but I've had a similar same feeling in both my calves the last 3 days a constant feeling that I just jogged 5 miles, not pain but an ache. I did very little all weekend and nothing strenuous.

I haven't had any grandmal seizures but my epilspsy has been acting up in that time. I've been having jerks in my arm and face, none involving my legs.

So I can certainly see how a neurological symptom could cause this.
